Induction Melting Furnace Description:

The induction melting furnace uses a medium-frequency power supply for induction heating, melting, and heat preservation. Mainly used for smelting and casting of ferrous and non-ferrous metal materials. Compared with cupola furnaces, electric arc furnaces, fuel furnaces, and power-frequency electric furnaces, medium-frequency induction melting furnaces have obvious advantages. For example, it has many advantages such as easy change of smelting varieties, easy control of smelting quality, flexible and simple operation, high power density, fast smelting speed, high thermal efficiency, convenient melting, etc. And it is energy-saving and environmentally friendly. It has become the preferred melting equipment for factory casting.

Application:

Smelting and casting of ferrous and non-ferrous metal materials, such as smelting gray iron, ductile iron, cast steel, aluminum alloy, and other metal materials.
It has been increasingly widely used in the fields of automobile parts, diesel engines, large marine castings, wind power generation parts, railway locomotive parts, centrifugal casting pipe fittings, engineering machinery parts, electric motor parts, compressor parts, and other fields.

Induction Melting Furnace Features:

  • Intermediate frequency power supply has high efficiency and high power density.
    It adopts an IGBT voltage feedback series resonance type intermediate frequency power supply. Series technology is the international mainstream medium frequency power supply technology and has significant advantages in energy saving (up to 30% energy saving compared to parallel equipment). It generates less harmonics, does not interfere with surrounding electrical equipment, and does not pollute the power grid.
  • The furnace itself has high electrical efficiency and thermal efficiency

    Advanced design: the material of the induction coil is T2 (purity 99.9% electrolytic copper). It has undergone pressure resistance testing before leaving the factory to ensure that the coil is safe and reliable. The appropriate number of coil turns and adjusting the coil turn pitch through electromagnetic simulation technology. It can achieve maximum electrical efficiency and better heating uniformity.
    Magnetic Yoke: The magnetic yoke is made of high-quality silicon steel sheets and is clamped on both sides with stainless steel plates. It is strong and provides firm support for the induction coil.

    Install sound and light alarm devices and safety interlock protection devices in key parts. It ensures equipment safety and product quality. Including over-temperature disconnection alarm and protection, furnace leakage alarm, equipment water cutoff or electrode over-temperature automatic stop heating, etc.
